Mariners Fan Fest

Waiting to go into Safeco Field

Watching Michael Pineda help a little guy pitch.
Andy was/is a SAINT!!!  Seriously, If I hadn't 'borned' him I would wonder if he was a superhero, he is THE best baby!

Not the best picture but somewhere in there is Brandon League (middle, w/ a Mariners coat on, black hair)
Went to Safeco field today for Mariners FanFest.  It was great.  Tons of kids activities but also HUGE lines.  The kids had a great time and want to go back again next year :)  Next year we'll be a little more prepared...
We didn't get there in time to see Felix but we did get to see & get a signature from a new Mariner who is expected to be pretty good.  Cool.  He was nice too.  We told our friends who he was and their little 5 year old got all excited and kept yelling 'Hi Michael!' to him, he would smile and wave back.  As we were walking onto the field for our turn at bat he was walking the other direction and stopped to talk to her.  She was handed a ball (sneakily by her dad:)  ) and asked him to sign it - even though it wasn't signing time; but who can say no to a sweet little lady :)  He signed one for us too.

I love living in an area with major teams.  I've never been much into sports but being able to see them in person is so much different/way freakin' better than watching them on tv.  It's pretty exciting.

Next year:

1.  Send Brandon 3 hours early to get in the 'autographs' line.
2.  SNACKS!!!
3.  Buy season passes, so we can skip all the lines - oh I mean watch more games ;)
4.  Carry a Sharpie and ball EVERYWHERE we go!

All in all we will sleep VERY well tonight!!!
