Yesterday

His main concern after the bandaid was put on... "Mom, now I can't open wide like a alligator!!!"

This was last night, the pictures don't look too bad but it was scary. Dillon was spinning himself on our computer chair and swung right into the corner of the desk - very sharp corner... instant panic. I knew Brandon was on his way home so I placed a frantic phone call, I'm sure I was completely incoherent and Brandon kept asking what happened but I just kept telling him to get home faster - he can fly you know :)

We were calm when he got home - Dillon had stopped screaming and was completely zoned in on Bob and his team - thank you Bob, you saved the day again. Anyway, we debated for an hour taking him to the doctor and ended up just cleaning it up really good and putting on a butterfly band aid - which now I regret because this morning it's still bleeding !!!

Oh yes, while this was all going down - Kenzie pooped in the tub.

Snowqualmie Falls

This family picture is my favorite, a very seldom seen thing occurred - a REAL smile from Brandon caught on, well, mega pixels or something like that but you get the idea :) I also love the next one with the kids on the rock. They look so little.
I feel like I haven't been posting many pictures lately, I've been in a rather verbose mood.

Recently we went with some friends of ours to a local water fall, it's beautiful - particularly after the flooding we've been through. We tried to get a good family picture of us - no luck ... but I'll post them anyway. I think we laughed through every picture, mainly because it was so cold we only had two options - cry or laugh.

Thanks go to the Browns for attempting to photograph our unruly family and to Cheryl who sacrificed her hat so my toddler wouldn't get sick!

Come Have A Bedtime Snack!!!

Really, should it be that hard to get a picture of your kids eating cereal surrounded by 10 boxes of cereal??? Apparently it is :)

This is my most recent good deal I just had to share - I was too happy to keep it in :) 10 boxes of cereal for 10 bucks!!! Yipee! We are going to be eating a lot of the Cap'n. Maybe 10 was a few too many. . .

I found out a store was having this on sale for a $1.50 and I had a coupon for 50 cents off, so I went on ebay and purchased 10 coupons for 50 cents off (for $1.42) I suppose adding that amount to my total savings I really spent a bit more - but I like the sound of $10 per box :)
(I purchased so many because it's one of the few cereals I can eat) (the human calculator standing next to me just informed me I spent $1.14. Man, I love that calculator!!!)

Oops I did it again.

Most of day, Wednesday, I was convinced someone was in our house. Every so often I caught of whiff of some new scent that smelled a little musky. I was on guard all morning, ready for action; peeking around corners, checking all the closets, sneaking around everywhere, keeping my kids quiet and close by. No weird 'someones watching me' feeling, just that smell. It smelled quite good, a fresh clean soft smelling bandit. It was mainly concentrated in the kitchen - which was weird because I'm ALWAYS in the kitchen and there's no where to hide in there. It wasn't until mid afternoon that I realized where the smell was coming from - it's me, I got new deodorant :) I decided that the angels watching me must be there for the entertainment value, it's like going to the movies for them "what is she going to do today???" Yes, I have done this before, but it doesn't normally half the day. I should just pretend it's a fun game I play with myself. I don't typically buy new scented things for this reason, once I find something I like I stick to it like glue - but it was on sale... Have a good day, make sure you sniff your deodorant before you put it on or the clean smelling bandit will come for you :)

The Newest Addition...

Big long stories are a little too laborious for my present mood and since this is a big long story, I thought I would condense it. For those of you willing to read it; this is the last year of Bradshaw work related history and major life changes - in a nutshell. I know some of my friends wish I would stop talking about this so they get a free pass, you guys can skip reading time just this once. This might still be long but trust me, for you it is a mere four minutes, for us it was months of WAITING, constantly waiting!

Brandon was working for a finance company and hated it. He was looking around for jobs but nothing seemed to fit. Thanks to an old mission buddy he was recruited to work for a company here in Seattle - Pointe Pest Control. From countin' money to killin' bugs (it was a lot more than that but this is the nutshell version ladies) We moved here in March and instantly fell in love. He loved this job more than any job he had ever done in his whole life. He loved them, they loved him, he was going places, he was finally happy - thus wifey was happy - until . . .

The recession hit Pointe and Terminix bought out the company. After much uncertainty we were offered a job with Terminix and took it. He stuck it out for a few months of misery and hated every minute of it. An idea was born months ago but it wasn't until this deprivation from happiness that it hatched.

Brandon has started his own pest control company. We are so excited we are bustin' at the seams although panic sets in on a regular basis :) Our life is changing rapidly and one way or the other - succeed or fail - we know things are never going to be quite the same.
EcoElite is born... no I'm not pregnant :)
